I have the honour to transmit for the signification of Her Majesty's pleasure the following Ordinance entitled:--
"An Ordinance to amend the Crown Lands Resumption Ordinance, 1839." No.30 of 1899.
The customary Report by the Attorney General is annexed.

Reenactment has been prepared on the general lines suggested, pointing out that the present method of dealing with this subject seems unsatisfactory and suggests that both ordinances should be repeated as a single ordinance.
Concern is felt locally that this cause & effect will meanwhile not be understood and be thoroughly examined.
The grounds might then be explained.
This advice will be taken instead of being informed from the age report.
I enclose this paper.
